The modern M6 can catapult drivers to 60mph in 4.4 seconds, but it is limited to a top speed of 155mph. (Uninhibited, it can hit 207mph, which puts it firmly in supercar territory.) The car has a usable boot, a comfortable cabin and a range of extra gadgets to satisfy the motor enthusiasts among us. There is even a convertible version, with a hood that takes 20 seconds to fold away. It's great for driving on a fine summer's day. Keep an eye on the gearbox and oil, as the gearbox may encounter issues that can be fixed with a software update. As for the oil, the car chugs through its allowance, so make sure to top it up regularly.

How it Drives
The large engine will provide all the power you need, but the huge brakes do reign it in slightly. To make the most of the car, you'll have to become used to the myriad of gearbox settings, which may throw people off at first. It's a BMW at heart, with a bunch of extras that make it a superbly styled supercar.
