Second-Hand VW CC
Used Volkswagen CC
This reliable vehicle has its origins in the Volkswagen Passat range, but a used Volkswagen CC is in a class of its own. Standing for Comfort Coupe, it has a range of special features that make it stand out from the crowd. It was originally launched to compete with mid-range saloons, although it provides something different that sets it apart from the rest. The model was unfortunately discontinued in 2017 due to lack of interest, as Volkswagen decided to replace it with the Arteon, a premium variant.
What You Get
The car is lower than the standard Passat, but its value lies in the engine and features. It has bundles of standard features, as well as a range of optional extras, and you can't go wrong with the 2.0 engine. It's also quite stylish without being upfront about it. As a result, it will definitely turn heads, as people wonder what car you're driving. Some of the computer parts may be expensive to fix if they break, but there are no common faults to report.
How it Drives
This car straddles the middle ground between a sporty and comfortable drive. For a faster drive, choose the bigger petrol engines. (They reach 60mph in 7.6 seconds.) Diesel engines are falling out of fashion, but they do provide a very respectable 60mpg in the Volkswagen CC. This is a car that faded too quickly, as it still provides a more-than-respectable performance today. it's a great used car purchase.
