Second-Hand Fiat Scudo
Used Fiat Punto Scudo
The Fiat Scudo is a van range that has developed as a result of a wide-ranging partnership, which means that you'll find equivalent versions from Peugeot, Citroen and Toyota all built on the same platform. While it may not be the most well known, it is still able to offer a solid commercial vehicle experience with a few clever features elevating it above average. Overall it’s good to drive, mainly thanks to its practicality, reliability and safety.
What You Get
If you're looking for something practical, the Scudo's inclusion of a third seat up front that fits another adult passenger will be welcome. However, there is a two-seat version available if you don’t need a third. Moving about upfront is made easier thanks to the presence of a dash-mounted gearstick. The Scudo comes with two sliding side doors as standard, so getting in and out is reasonably easy. An adjustable driver’s seat and steering wheel are also standard equipment, so you can make it as comfortable as possible.
How it Drives
The Scudo's respected engines and overall practicality make it a good road companion. The first Scudo was available with both petrol and diesel engines. However, when it came to its second generation, it was only available as a diesel, though you choose from a 1.6L with 90bhp and a 2.0L with either 120bhp or 136bhp. All are good to drive and offer a reasonable driving position. Fuel efficiency is equally decent, since you'll get between 37 and 39mpg out of the various engines depending on how you drive.
