Second-Hand Daewoo

Used Daewoo
Used Daewoos are typically quite small and compact, perfect for city-goers. If all you require out of a motor is ease of use, small dimensions and plenty of miles to the gallon, a used Daewoo should suit you down to the ground. They are extremely cheap to buy on the second-hand market and should, if looked after properly, last you several years without too much hassle.

Popular Models
It’s most popular and well-known cars in the UK have been the used Daewoo Matiz and Kalos . Both cars haven’t really sold in the numbers Daewoo would have liked, but they are the cars which managed to keep a presence in the UK’s motor industry during the start of the 21st century to present day. It could be said that Daewoo were the first successful Korean car manufacturer to come to Europe and pitch us a different idea with their interpretation of what a car should be. Sure, there have been ups and downs along the way, but it still reminds a strong brand with a few good cars to its name.

About Daewoo
Daewoo is a motor company formed in South Korea and is now owned by Tata. The company has gone through a few changes in owners since its birth in the 1960s, but it was GM’s ownership in the early 2000s when the company began selling cars to the UK in a decent amount of numbers. The cars during this period were all based on current GM models, so they were pretty reliable, looked half decent and drove well, but by 2004, GM wanted out and sold Daewoo to Indian car conglomerate Tata. This is the same company which owns Jaguar Land Rover, so it seems likely Daewoo will be financially secure for the foreseeable future.
