RAC Cars Need To Know:

Aixam are quite an unknown manufacturer in the UK, but the French company does sell cars here, even if you’ve probably never seen one of their motors! So, what do they sell? Well, Aixam prefers making small city cars for its consumers which are designed to save people money who are trying to live on a budget. The company is often compared to Smart, thanks to their love of plastic and small-engine cars; some of their cars don’t even require a license to drive them!

One of their most popular and modern designs is the used Aixam Crossline; a funky, decent-looking, small SUV with a top speed of just 58mph. Sure, you won’t be able to hit 70mph on our motorways, but it’s still a low-running cost type of car which will definitely save you money over its more powerful rivals.

If you’re a city-dweller, the Aixam City Sporty is a car to consider. Many people tend to go for ‘cars’ like the G-Wiz when driving in the city, but the Aixam City Sporty is an alternative which actually has a fair bit more to offer than the aforementioned G-Wiz. For one, it looks a hell of a lot better than a G-Wiz, and you’ll probably be the only person in the city who drives one, so you’re assured to exclusivity no matter where you go!

Aixam may not be BMW or Ford, but it’s a company which is small and, as a result, specialises in small cars which should save the owners some money on a daily basis. If all you want in a car is to get from A-to-B in relative comfort, then an Aixam is a choice that should be considered. Even if you don’t like some of the designs, they will be super-cheap to buy and should last you for years.

Sometimes, buying known brands is the obvious thing to do, but by buying a car which nobody has ever heard of can make more financial sense in the long run.
