Mario Balotelli And His Cars

By raccars Published

Flamboyant footballing wonderkind, Mario Balotelli, is almost as famous for his antics off the pitch as on – the women, police run-ins and, above all, the cars...

At the age of 22, the Italian has been known to own an astonishing number of super luxury cars, in which he has been involved in a number of 'incidents.'

Bentley Continental GT

The Bentley Continental GT, from a marque synonymous at one time with elegance and understated class, has unfortunately become famous in recent years as a favourite of spoiled playboys and footballers. One of Balotelli's favourite cars, his £140,000 white Continental, later found itself decorated in camouflage paint before one infamous incident saw a Manchester United fan use the car as a urinal, while the unsuspecting football ace enjoyed a post-match curry. This same car has allegedly amassed an estimated £10,000 in parking tickets. Another well-known incident involved a collision causing the police to search the car and discover £15,000 cash in its glovebox. When questioned why he would need to carry that sort of sum around, the police no doubt expected the fast-living Balotelli to be on his way to a drugs score or Berlusconi style orgy. In fact, Balotelli's very simple explanation was a shrug-punctuated "I'm rich." The 567bhp 6.0-litre W12 Bentley was later damaged in an accident.

Range Rover Evoque

The 240bhp 2.0 litre Evoque was a relatively restrained purchase for supercar loving Balotelli, until, in a triumph of enthusiasm over taste, he had it covered in gold vinyl.

Ferrari 458 Spider

This mid-mounted 562 horsepower 4.5-litre V8 engine is nothing if not a supercar and at 3.4 seconds to 60mph, is nearly as fast on the road as its owner is on the pitch. Balotelli went for the traditional red this time and, thankfully, managed to leave it that way.

Maserati GT

Originally bought in white, this stylish 400bhp 4.2-litre V8 was another victim of Balotelli's whimsy, being redecorated in black vinyl. The GT is an extremely smart, exclusive and covetable vehicle that will take you from rest to 62mph in 5.2 seconds, on the way to a top speed of 177mph.

Audi R8 V10

Matte black to match his Maserati, Balotelli's R8 has to stand out from the crowd, as usual, displaying special bright yellow brake callipers and a set of black and yellow rims. Like the Bentley, the R8 is a pretty predictable footballer's ride.

Balotelli is known as a style free zone but you have to admit, the man knows his way around a car showroom almost as well as a football pitch.
