Honda’s Swindon Plant Sees Increase in Production

By raccars Published

Honda’s new range of cars including the 2012 Civic has meant that production at its flagship Swindon plant will double this year. Honda has even taken one 500 more employees to cope with the demand, which is good news considering we’re apparently back in another recession.

The plant will take care of building the new Civic, Jazz and next-gen CR-V as Honda tries to keep hold on its position in the UK market. It’ll be looking to boost sales of the aforementioned, as the CR-V was the only Honda that sold in large numbers last year.

Let’s hope it’s a prosperous year for Honda and the entire British automotive industry.
