If your dream superhero power is a cloak of invisibility or super strength, you're probably going spend your life feeling a little inadequate. However, you may be able to absorb one of your favourite superhero's attributes by buying the same car...

A new Batmobile is on the way for 2016's Batman vs Superman film, but what other superheroes drive cool cars?

Iron Man's Honda

Known as the Acura NSX roadster in the US, Tony Stark's vehicle of choice from the 2012 Avengers film was created uniquely for the film. It is based upon the actual NSX but is not set to make the production line. However, Iron Man fans could consider some of his other cars - in the first Robert Downey Jr film from 2008, Stark has a little trouble getting to grips with his Iron Man suit in his garage and an AC Cobra, among other vehicles, took the brunt. Ouch - fortunately only a replica was used for filming. Parked next to the Cobra was a sleek Saleen S7 - with a 200mph plus top speed, it's certainly a superhero-worthy mode of transport. Alternatively, at one point in the film, Stark is seen working on a Ford Flathead Roadster hot rod.

The Black Widow's Corvette

In this year's Captain America: Winter Soldier, the Black Widow, as played by Scarlett Johansson, is seen driving a Corvette C7 Stingray - appropriately enough, it's black.

The Green Hornet's Black Beauty

Black Beauty in the 2011 film of 'The Green Hornet' took some serious punishment, shot with more holes than a chunk of Edam. 29 Imperial Crowns played the role of Black Beauty in the film.

The Punisher's Pontiac GTO

Played by Thomas Jane in the 2004 film version, our hero builds himself an armoured muscle car, the Pontiac GTO, to help him take revenge upon those who killed his family. A previous film version starring Dolph Lundgren, put the Punisher on a motorbike, but the GTO is much cooler.

Blade's Dodge Charger

In an appropriate matt black finish, a 1969 Dodge Charger was used by the part-vampire superhero to up his cool credentials while fighting evil with the aid of a samurai sword. Those wanting to emulate their hero are better off just sticking to the car if they don't want to get into trouble with law enforcement...

Transformers Corvette

Chevrolet likes to preview its new concepts in Transformers films - first the latest Camaro was introduced in concept form in the 2007 film, while in 'Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen' in 2009, Autobot Sideswipe is portrayed as a Corvette Stingray Concept.
