Now in its second generation, the Hyundai i10 features plenty of standard equipment. Its great handling and compact build make it perfect for city driving.
At home in urban settings, the Hyundai i10 is small and agile - reflecting the i10’s sense of functionality in how it performs. The cabin has been redesigned from previous models, featuring splashes of colour and metallic-esque materials that match the chosen exterior paint. Seats are comfortable and supportive, whilst the i10 also sports a spacious cabin along with the biggest boot in the class, providing excellent practicality despite its size.
There are two petrol engines available with the new Hyundai i10, a 65bhp 1.0-litre and a more powerful four-cylinder 1.2-litre with an 86bhp output; the latter can reach 0-62mph in 12.3 seconds. The stiffer suspension makes the i10 more agile around tighter corners and through narrower streets, which is perfect for city driving. Fantastic brakes and accurate steering also make the car a pleasure to drive around town. Standard equipment is good for the class, with the entry-level S trim available with split folding rear seats, electric front windows, USB and AUX ports. The S Air model has air-conditioning, whilst the top Premium SE trim comes with alloy wheels, Bluetooth, steering wheel controls, heated front seats and an electric sunroof.
By default the i10 includes six airbags, ABS, a tyre-pressure monitoring system and braking assist. With low running costs across the board, drivers can also reduce their car's fuel consumption by choosing the Blue Drive model with stop-start technology. This improves the fuel economy of the 1.0-litre petrol engine, returning at 65.7mpg and emitting under 100g/km of CO2, whilst also exempting the car from road tax. Even the standard S model with the 65bhp engine returns 60.1mpg.
Perfect for Couples and Professionals Designed for city driving, the new Hyundai i10 impresses with its good looks, low running costs and agility in traffic. It will be appreciated by drivers who prefer a compact car that is both practical and comfortable.
