He may be sporting the tag of the ‘UK’s fastest driver’ but Ben Westwood from Wednesfield won’t be challenging Lewis Hamilton to a race any time soon. This is due to his recent police chase where he managed to hit 180mph in a modified Audi RS5 worth £85,000.
Westwood was caught by the police and is now facing time behind bars for his actions. Along with the speeding, he was also charged for conspiracy to burgle and steal – which should combine for a lengthy term in prison.
It just goes to show how, even in the fastest cars, the police can find you and make you regret ever committing the crime.
