New Mercedes-Benz V Class

The V-Class isn’t short on space, with its huge box-like shape making packing large amounts of luggage simple. It’s now also faster, with more standard kit and a higher level of comfort.

The new Mercedes-Benz V Class is based on the older Viano model, though by glancing at the bodywork it's immediately clear that this redesigned car is decisively modern and more luxurious than most MPVs. More elegant and dynamic, the V Class also features smaller but crucial details, with the grille updated to reflect the newer two-blade design adorned with the iconic three-pointed star. As expected, the interior is very spacious and stylish, providing generous amount of space for seven passengers. The cabin has a true first-class feel, with real metal trims and leather seats. The driver also enjoys more comfort and visibility, thanks to a higher seat and extra large windows.

There are two diesel engines available with the V Class, the CDI 220 producing 160bhp and a more powerful CDI 250, with an output of 187bhp. Both engines offer good fuel economy, with 49.6 and 44.8mpg respectively. Good to drive on the motorway or around the city, the V Class comes with a standard Agility Select system that will adjust both the steering and the suspension, for a more efficient drive. Both the SE and the Sport trim offer plenty of luxury and comfort, with the former bringing tinted windows, alloy wheels, and heated front seats amongst many other features, whilst the latter adding premium leather on the seats, LED headlights and coloured ambient lighting.

Even though it is more expensive than other cars in its class, the new Mercedes-Benz V Class has competitive running costs, with the 2.1-litre diesel engine returning close to 45.6mpg, with emissions reaching 163g/km. The V Class comes with a full five-star rating from the Euro NCAP crash tests and with a fantastic range of safety features, including skid-reducing electronic stability control and cruise control, amongst others.

Perfect for Business Owners & Fleets Designed with seven seats and a luxurious cabin, the new V Class is perfectly suited to business owners looking for a high-quality and elegant people carrier.
