New Mercedes-Benz SL Class

With a focus on both performance and comfort, the Mercedes-Benz SL is an impressive coupe, with heaps of desirability thanks to clever styling and the convertible roof.

Graceful curves, an iconic long bonnet and a sleek finish make the new Mercedes-Benz SL Class stand out from afar, whether parked in the city or speeding on the motorway. The slightly minimalist bodywork goes back to the basics with an elegant shape that seems to flow in motion. Inside the cabin, the finishes and trims are impressive, surpassing even the high standards set by Mercedes in other models. Soft leather seats, plenty of space for a couple to enjoy even longer journeys, storage areas in between and behind the seats, and eye-catching dials that cleverly complement the more refined interior – all of these elements ensure that the new SL makes a lasting impression.

Available in four versions, the new Mercedes-Benz SL is truly impressive, whether you prefer the entry-level SL400 with a 3.0-litre V6 or want to go for the more powerful SL63 AMG with a 5.5-litre V8. The incredible 12.0litre SL65 AMG is even more thrilling as it can reach 0-62mph in just 4.0 seconds. The multi-link aluminium chassis along with the lightweight body transform longer journeys into comfortable rides, with a choice of three suspensions available. The grip is significantly better than other models, thanks to larger tyres. The higher price might be a drawback for some drivers, but a luxurious cabin and a vast range of standard features sets the SL apart from other vehicles in the same class. The entry-level SL350 AMG comes with Bluetooth, climate control, sat nav, four-way memory leather seats and an infotainment system.

The SL Class in not the most economical car to drive, but the V6-powered SL 400 engine returns a respectable 36.7mpg, with CO2 emissions of 178g/km. Safety equipment includes airbags and various warning or braking systems as standard.

Perfect for Couples & Driving Enthusiasts A stylish cabriolet that will maintain its appeal over the years, the new Mercedes-Benz SL Class is an excellent choice for a couple who needs a refined vehicle with plenty of muscle, or for a driving enthusiasts looking for a powerful car with a timeless design.
