Most cars on RAC Cars have longer warranties than the minimum, especially where they are part of a Manufacturer Approved Used scheme or the RAC BuySure scheme.
The actual minimum warranty period applicable to each car is cleary indicated on the individual car details.

There are no private adverts or 'traders' on RAC Cars. RAC Cars only works with established dealers with physical premises, so you can rest assured you're in good hands.
On every advert we display the location and details of the dealer and categorise the different types of dealer as follows:
Franchised Dealer - This is a dealer who holds a franchise from a car manufacturer and prepares cars for sale to the franchise standards.
Non Franchised Outlet - This is typically a non franchised outlet of a dealer group with multiple franchised dealer outlets operating to the group car preperation standards or one of the UK's major car supermarket's operating to their own documented preperation standards.
RAC Approved Dealer - This is a franchised or non franchised dealer that prepares cars to the RAC BuySure standard and is periodically audited by the RAC against scheme standards.
